Enisa Velagic, Mostar

Second cycle of nursing studies at the Faculty of Health Studies, University in Mostar
Head Nurse of the Emergency Department at the Clinical Hospital Dr Safet Mujic in Mostar

I chose this profession because it is unique, with a lot of challenges and the opportunity to empathies with patients.

The studies so far have expanded my knowledge of social, communication and clinical care skills. My wish is to get more involved
in work with students after the graduation.

I think it would be good that ProSes project continues to support clinical skills mentors’ training. The scholarship I received from
ProSes for my last year of the master's studies was a great help as I already had a loan to finance the first year.

Therefore, I think it is important to continue this type of support, especially for successful young people who have limited financial resources. I expect certain changes in the legislation from the local authorities, such as recognition of Bachelor’s degree in nursing also in other working posts, not only managerial.
