Nursing Association in the Federation BiH (NA FBiH) held a promotional conference in Fojnica on 19-20 May 2017 with 170 participants, representatives of health and educational sector.

The conference aimed to inform the attendees about the mission, vision, program objectives and importance of the NA FBiH for strengthening nursing in the FBiH, as well as to promote the nursing profession.

The attendees were addressed by the Minister of Health of BP Canton Sabira Beslija, president of NA FBiH Hanka Redzic, ProSes Manager Ines Katic-Vrdoljak and representatives of nursing associations in the Republika sRpska and Brcko District.

During four panels, the following topics were discussed:

- comparison and differences between chambers and associations

- continuous professional development of nurses throughout the working life and the role of associations

- strengthening nurse competencies in Mental Healthcare Centres

- higher nurse education

Appreciation letters were given to all who had supported the NA FBiH in the preceding period.
