Last week, on October 9th, a meeting was held at the University of Sarajevo with representatives of CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the meeting was to bring together projects in which higher education institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina are coordinators or participants. This facilitated learning about the projects
being implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, sharing experiences, networking, and promoting best practices among CBHE users.
During the meeting, representatives of NEO and EU (EU Delegation, EACEA, etc.) provided an overview of CBHE activities, while CBHE users in Bosnia and Herzegovina presented their projects. Doc. Dr. Mirza Oruč from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica, spoke on behalf of the TCCWB project, presenting all the key aspects of the project on Transcultural Competences of Healthcare Professionals in the Western Balkans, including the work packages, expected outcomes, and project partners. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Fami Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of East Sarajevo.
The second joint meeting of TCCWB project representatives will be held in Brussels from December 3rd to 5th, 2024.
