Another workshop for strengthening the managerial and leadership skills of nurses, which lasted from 28 August to 1 September 2024, was successfully completed in Jahorina.

The participants were nurses from the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska, Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) Banja Luka, Hospital "Sveti Vracevi" Bijeljina, Special Surgical Hospital Kostic, Institute for Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation "Dr. Miroslav Zotovic", and PHCC Celinac.

The aim of the training was to strengthen both managerial and leadership skills of nurses, their ability to inspire and motivate others, make quality decisions, effectively communicate and create a positive work environment.

In order to support the improvement of the health care system and the quality of services to end users, it is crucial to have competent and reliable managers and leaders among the nursing workforce. The organizers were the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republika Srpska and the Fami Foundation as part of the Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina Project.
