A four-day workshop "Development of Nurses' Managerial and Leadership Skills“, organized in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Health was held in Vitez.

The workshop brought together nurses from Herzegovina-Neretva and West Herzegovina, Una-Sana Cantons and Canton 10. During these four days, the focus was on introduction of the basics of management in healthcare, developing organizational skills, challenges in human resource management, decision-making, teamwork, business communications, time management and burnout prevention. This very productive training should help improve nursing practice in the coming period. The rich program provided nurses with concrete knowledge and tools for dealing with challenges in everyday practice - from team organization to leadership in crisis situations. They were discussing, learning and networking - and most importantly, empowering themselves. This was not just education, but a space for exchanging experiences and building a strong professional community. At the end of the training, the participants pointed out: "The knowledge we acquired at this workshop is instantly applicable and valuable".
