Additional training for nurses from 10 primary health care centers in Zenica-Doboj Canton - Kakanj, Olovo, Maglaj, Vares, Zepce, Usora, Breza, Doboj-South, Tesanj and Zenica - officially started at the Training Center of the Primary Health Care Center Zenica.

Training is organized by Fami Foundation and the Federal Ministry of Health as a part of the Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project activities.

Training is carried out in line with the decisions contained in the Rulebook on Additional Training in Community Nursing ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH" No. 23/23). The theoretical part will continue until January 16, 2024, followed by practical part of the training.  After the training, participants will be required to complete a test.

Nediljko Rimac, Federal Minister of Health will award the Community Nursing Training Certificates.

Training is delivered by the experts from Primary Health Care Center Zenica, in collaboration with external experts in certain learning areas.

At the beginning of the training, Vildana Doder, Head of the Health Care Organization Sector at the Federal Ministry of Health, Mersija Kasumovic, Director of the Primary Health Care Center Zenica and Ermina Kalabic, Manager of Component B of the Strengthen Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Fami Foundation greeted the attendees. Aida Salcinovic, Cantonal Minister of Health also came to the training center to express her support to the lecturers and participants of the additional training.
