In collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and Zenica Primary Health Care Center (PHCC), as part of the Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project, theoretical part of additional training in community nursing was completed. Twenty-five nurses from 10 PHCCs - Zenica, Tešanj, Kakanj, Olovo, Maglaj, Vareš, Žepče, Usora, Breza and Doboj-Jug in Zenica-Doboj Canton - attended the training. Lectures and workshops were held at the Zenica PHCC Training Center and lasted 15 days, from 23^rd November, 2023. until 11^th January 2024.

The training was carried out in line with the adopted Curriculum for Additional Training in Community Nursing. The lecturers were appointed by Zenica PHCC Training Center.

In the following two months, the practical part of the training will be implemented in the training participants’ local communities. The practical part includes home visits under the supervision of qualified mentors.
