Participation in 12th International Scientific Conference in Bled, Slovenia
ProSes representatives participated in the 12th International Scientific Conference “Challenges and Needs of the Society in the Area of Prevention and Promotion of Health at all Levels of Health Care”, held on June 6 in Bled, Slovenia.
The Project presented the supported process of harmonization of curricula at the second cycle of the nursing studies/health sciences in Bosnia and Herzegovina with European standards. The Conference was organized by Angela Boskin Faculty of Health Care and sponsored by Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia. The Conference covered the topics related to the response of the nursing profession to the current challenges in the field of disease prevention and health promotion, such as promotion and prevention at different ages, evidence-based research and practice, health care and education quality etc. The conference was attended by over 100 participants.
This opportunity was also used to visit the Secondary School of Nursing in Ljubljana where modern educational techniques are applied to educate future health assistants in line with the European standards, as well as to visit the Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia and talk with their president Monika Azman about experiences and trends in the development of the nursing profession in Slovenia.
