The Community Nursing department was officially opened at the Vares Primary Health Care Center on May 30, 2024.

The management of this primary health care center, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Health and Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project, recently administered reorganization of work, provided adequate space and equipment for community nursing, making this extremely important service available to its citizens/patients.

We are especially proud of the key resources of this service - three qualified community nurses who, in the previous few months, participated in the intensive additional training in community nursing, and acquired the necessary competencies.

Eight new nurses signed employment contracts with this primary health care center. They will further improve the provision of health care in Vares municipality.
