Ministry of Health of Canton Sarajevo hosted today a meeting at which Canton Sarajevo Public Health Institute presented a plan to improve community nursing in Canton Sarajevo, developed with the support of Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project.

The plan contains a comprehensive social-medical diagnosis, a list of socially excluded categories, an analysis of their specific health and social needs, and proposed measures to improve the current situation.

Support in the implementation of this action plan is provided by representatives of the Federal Ministry of Health along with other project partners: Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton, Public Health Care Center of Sarajevo Canton, Public Health Institute of Sarajevo Canton, Health Insurance Fond of Sarajevo Canton, Ministry of Labour, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of Sarajevo Canton , Center for Social Work Sarajevo and Red Cross of Sarajevo Canton.
