Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Fami Foundation and the Ministry of Health of the Zenica-Doboj Canton was signed on January 15, 2024 in Zenica, as a part of the Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina Project.

Earlier, the same MoUs were signed by the Directors of Primary Health Care Centers and the Mayors of eight municipalities in this canton: Kakanj, Vares, Zepce, Usora, Doboj Jug, Breza, Olovo and Maglaj. These MoUs define mutual duties and responsibilities focused on improving community nursing in these local communities.

The first joint meeting of the signatories of this MoU and other key local partners will be held after the first draft of Local Implementation Plan for community nursing is produced by the Institute for Health and Food Safety. The goal of this activity is the identification of socially excluded groups, their specific needs, key local partners and measures to respond to the identified needs.
