Another successful workshop on the treatment of chronic wounds was held in Prijedor for nurses from Primary Health Care Center and Hospital in Prijedor. This training is part of continuous activities focused on strengthening of the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals, and was already implemented in Gradiska, Celinac, Doboj, Prnjavor, Trebinje, Foca and East Sarajevo.

Through the theoretical and practical parts of the training, participants had the opportunity to refresh and deepen their knowledge of chronic wound, master effective treatment techniques and exchange experiences with the colleagues. A special focus was on modern methods used in patient care, which will contribute to the improvement of healthcare in the institutions they work at.

We would like to thank the management of the Primary Health Care Center Prijedor for their hospitality and support in organizing this important training, as well as all participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm for improvement. The workshop was led by Smilja Marinkovic, Head Nurse of the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital of Republika Srpska, whose professional leadership and experience significantly contribute to the success of these trainings.

We continue our mission of improving the quality of nursing services through continuous education and knowledge exchange among health professionals across the country.
