A draft local plan for improvement of community nursing in ​​eight municipalities of Zenica-Doboj Canton was presented on 29th May 2024 in Zenica.

Among other things, socially excluded categories of the population, their specific health and social needs, difficulties in accessing health and social services, as well as key local partners for improving the accessibility of comprehensive community nursing services are recognized in the plans.

Based on the recommendations of interviewed representatives of health and social workers and socially excluded categories of the population, a proposal of measures for improvement of the current situation was created.
