A panel discussion was held at the Faculty of Medicine Foca, to point out the importance of nursing associations in exercising professional and patient rights, but also to promote the formal Association of Nursing Graduates in Republika Srpska.
All nurses regardless of their level of education were granted particular consideration and an opportunity for an argument based productive dialogue and discussion. The position of graduate nurses based on good practice, and also key challenges and plans to improve the nursing profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed.
Panelists: Prof. MD. Dejan Bokonjic, Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Foca, Eldin Fisekovic, Project Manager of the Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project, and Assistant Professor Jelena Pavlovic, PhD, Head of the Nursing Studies Department at the Faculty of Medicine Foca and the President of the Association of Graduate Nurses in Republika Srpska.
