Some of the key results of Strengthening Nursing in Bosnia and Herzegovina project were presented at the 3rd International HISPA Congress in Bijeljina.
During the nursing session, chaired by Mirjana Jankovic, Senior Advisor for Nursing at the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Republika Srpska and Milica Dikic, Head Nurse at "Sveti Vracevi" Hospital in Bijeljina, nursing career specialties were also discussed from the perspective of healthcare institutions. Ivona Ljevak, Assistant Professor at the Nursing Faculty at the University of Mostar, also presented project results.
Thanks to the efforts of entity ministries of health in promoting project results, nurses from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the project support, have more and more opportunities to present their research, at the scientific conferences both in the region and abroad.
Around 1,000 medical workers from 15 countries around the world contributed to the success of this year's congress with a multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
According to the participants, the scientific conference in Bijeljina was an excellent platform to present the latest research, technological innovations and therapeutic approaches in this field, and provide experts with the latest methods of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
